Perms around the World … Part II


In Asia they re-invented perms, and these are called “digital perms”,  digital because the curlers/rods/clambs ar connected via wires to a computercontrolled device that applies heat to the hair.

It looks a bit like the old Permanent-Wave-Machines but this new form of perms is much less damaging as in the old days, in fact where most perms tend to be very curly is the hair is wet , after a digital perm it’s the opposite … wet hair becomes flat.
