A new year.. Part II

You need some patience getting a perm, depending on the hairlength and size of the permingrod it will take between 1,5 and several hours. To me this all is so much fun, you feel the tension on the rollers, it smells strange.

From time to time I try to put my own hair in curlers  / permrods. I have everything for that here at home, even the permingtray ( black plastic tray on her shoulders) and the cottonband and the used neckstrip. I won’t do a real perm, not on myself or on anybody because with a perm lots of things can go wrong.  Perms are best done by a good stylist in a salon, doesn’t have to be the most expensive salon, in fact it is better to go to a salon where they regularly do perms instead of an expensive place that only perms a few times in a month.

Fashion still dictates straight hair… booo !  But we see more perms being done, and who knows what 2018 will bring… or perhaps just simply do what you want, why do your hair the way as all others do?  Dare to be yourself, dare to be different, dare to get a perm done.

With modern phone and smiling, so modern younger woman still dare to get perms? How cool is that. I hope that we can see much more of this kind of things happening over the next years, the times  have changed no more straight hair  curls everywhere?

A perm is NOT a perm? Part V

Not only it is possible to chance the outcome of a perm by using different permingtools, but also the way hair is wond around the rollers has an effect on the resulting curls.

Normally rods are put in in nice rows behind each other, here you see the rods hanging down and even hanging over each other. The result will be nice hanging ringlets.

You can combine that technique with bigger diameter permingrods to achieve bigger ringlets.

Or thinner rods.

This winding technique works best on medium to longer hair, and yes it takes a lot of rods. I can happen that 200 or even more indivial permingrods have to be wound in the hair. These perms are usally named “spiralperms” and are more expensive then regular perms, because of the extra work that it takes.

Hello World, part III

2016 is coming to an end, so is current hairfashion? Are we going to see more scenes in the salon then the above?

I was in the salon for a perm 2 times this year, my hair is stil good and strong but so long now that too much perms could ruin it. I like my hair this way, I can do lots of play here at home, for that I bought a lot of new things. As I am typing this I am sitting caped under an orange cape, with an orange towel on top and a white one under the cape. I my hair are 36 orange rollers ( 22 mm diameter) I used setting lotion and spends some time under a dryerhood. I did this because I wanted to show someone it over webcam per Skype, but that person didn’t showed up. Is that how we treat our fellowfetishjist?

Since Yahoomessenger got totally screwed up I don’t use that anymore, I switched to Skype. I also want the other to show up over webcam, I don’t chat when it is not possible to do some two-way webcam.

This is one of my new “toys”

A real salonchair, brand Welonda, model Violetta  in softpink. As you can see it has a pump, it rolls on wheels and the rolling can be stoped with a brake, the lever for the pump can block the rotation of the chair. The back can lean back, when used for a washing in a standing washingplace.

I am now sitting in this chair and I love it so much, it really adds to the realism of my homehairsalonplays.

My chair will get a lot of ussage and so do many other things I have.
